Hyperkin GN6 Controller

The six-button layout feels exactly like my old console muscle memory expects, and the USB plug-and-play worked instantly on my laptop. I’ve been tearing through Sonic without any lag, and the d-pad clicks just right for those tight corners.

I was honestly worried a modern USB version would feel cheap, but the weight and responsiveness are spot-on for retro gaming. The d-pad clicks with that same satisfying precision I remember from the old days, and it plugged straight into my PC with zero fuss.

The six-button layout feels exactly like the original I grew up with, and the USB connection was truly plug-and-play on my laptop. It’s a solid, faithful way to play those classic Genesis games without hunting down old hardware.
